September 7-8, Long Range Invitational Artillery Match, Grayling, Mich

Approximately 20 Civil War and Spanish American War field cannons and 12 Civil War mortars will be participating.  Unlike other matches, usually limited to less than 200 yards, this event will have targets at 1,200 yards!  Spectators are welcome.

At the site of the W&A RR tunnel, involved in the “Great Locomotive Chase” and seven skirmishes and battles.  Battles on Saturday & Sunday.  Military and civilian camps as well as sutlers.


September 27-28 – Occupation of Palatka

Living history event, no battle or skirmish is reenacted.  This recalls the March 1864 occupation of Palatka by Federal forces. There will be civilian and military camps and displays showing what it was like during that time.


October 4-6 – Raid on Otter Springs, FL

The Federal Raid from their base on the Cedar Keys will be reenacted with two engagements on Saturday (Clay Landing and Levyville) and Station 4 on Sunday.
